to the moon...

Last Space layout for a while I promise, I got on a roll and couldn't stop! My eldest is always telling us he will be going to Space when he is "older"...I wanted to record a sweet  little moment in time that happened recently which really highlights his innocence. My husband and I are totally convinced he will go to Space one day too! My favourite papers ever from OA of course!

The planet show..

As I said in my previous post my eldest is totally obsessed with all things Space. At the beginning of this year I helped him make this mobile and without prompting from anyone he made up his own planet show for us, telling us lots of imformation about each planet.
More delish papers and embellies from OA Rocket Age.

Another gorgeous rocket pin from MLBOW.

the littlest astronaut

For book week dress up parade at kindy this week, my eldest who is totally obsessed with Space of course wanted to be an astronaut. I put on my teacher crafty skills and came up with this. An empty box and old slippers spray painted silver, logos printed from the net, letters cut and glued from my felt stash, the only thing I bought was that amazing helmet from Spotlight. He was so excited and definitely a hit!

FINALLY digging into my stash of OA rocket age.....sigh!!!!

LOVIN that rocket pin from MLBOW

his colours...

My youngest at 2 and a half is having trouble remembering his colours. I decided to make him a mini album using some COREDINATIONS cardstock, an old chipboard book I had lying around , embossing folders, and some Scrapware chipboard.
I kept it simple so as not to distract from the  concept of colour....of course my oldest wanted to read it as well!
Do you spy that yummy Lil red rocket traffic button on the cover!

I forget..

....that my youngest is still only 2. He talks so well ...like a four year old, I treat him the same as my eldest who is 4. Sometimes I have to stop and remember there is a huge gap developmentally between these ages. This layout had been on my mind for a while. I have used some yummy Authentique pattern paper from Handmadebysuzanne that came in my DT pack for this month, as well as that Oh so special doily chippie from Scrapware.

RED...

Core’dinations has gone RED.
The Design Team and Core family has found a cause near and dear to their hearts.
Each one of us has been affected by heart disease in some way. A friend, a family member, even ourselves.
Click here for more information from the Go Red site.
Share emails with your friends for FREE heart health kits.Help us by making it YOUR mission, too, to fight heart disease in women.
Each of us were asked to design a   project that was predominately RED ...here is mine.
I used some goodies from my JBS guest design spot...how cool is that rub on.. as well as some CORE impressions by Jenni Bowlin .
....There is an amazing competition going on in the lead up to Melbourne paperific, lots of fabulous prizes to be won, head on over here to find out all the details.

play

I am so excited to be a guest star over at Jenni Bowlin studios this week. I was sent some yummy yummy goodies to play with. This  by far was my favourite project I created. It tells the story of my eldest's love for his little friend Kate who he just adores and loves to play with!

I love the Jenni Bowlin CORE impressions and how easily rubons rub on even when it has been sanded!
